Want more grants and more money from the Fed's?  If so,
then you probably shouldn't be reading this one.

I do not disagree that the size and scope of the federal government is out of hand.  The question that I have repeatedly posed is this:  Until something changes, how do we in small-town rural America get the money we have paid into the system back, to be put to work for our benefit?

"All government is evil" is not an answer to this question.  Neither is "they shouldn't have taken it in the first place".  They have our money, how do we get it back before it is all sucked up by mega-regional urban areas.  Grants and loans for infrastructure improvements is, in my opinion, a good way to get these dollars back.  If we don't apply for them, the dollars go somewhere else.  If some of you want to continue depositing your money just so someone else can withdraw it, be my guest.  I'd like to get mine back, with maybe some interest on it.

And I've already heard about strings, and I have given my opinion on that also.

Don't have time to get into this one much, but I will say you're right to a point as far as gov't equals evil.  Yes I would like to get mine back also, but not with interest.  If the gov't is paying you interest it just means that they are taking it from someone else.  I will elaborate later, right now, I have to get ready for work.
It is high time we eased the drought suffered by the Tree of Liberty. Let us not stand and suffer the bonds of tyranny, nor ignorance, laziness, cowardice. It is better that we die in our cause then to say that we took counsel among these.
