I have an old extract bottle made by Santa Fe Foods in Arkansas City. There is no zip code. Does anyone know old history of Ark city?

She has transcribed a number of old Arkansas City newspapers and might have come across the company when preparing the articles for their web site.

Not sure how Cowley County is connected to a company in Austin, Texas, unless there might be a subsidiary in Cowley County.
