Our prayers will be with you. I did not realize Barbara was your mother.  My late mother admired your mother, always a kind word.

But rather openings where our loved ones,
Shine down to let us know they are happy."

Devyn,

You do have my prayers, too. God be with you and your family at this time.

I just received an e-mail from a college friend, Carolyn Heard, who has remained a long distance friend all these years. She was diagnosed with breast cancer this morning and is seeing an oncologist right now. I know it was caught early, but right now she is terrified. She has asked for prayers, so I am contacting everyone I know.

God's blessing to her and HE will carry her, when it is necessary..............

It is hard enough hearing the big C and knowing that you need  not walk alone DOES make it
just a little easier to get through.

From Longton I will add my prayer to yours.

God watch over Carolyn Heard,
I know you do and will.
I pray she knows you.
Amen

My prayers are with you and your friend Diane, if there is anything on this earth that I hate it is cancer. I pray we find a way to eradicate it forever.

Diane, I will be praying for your friend and her family.  I know how much strength and courage one gets from all the prayers of friends and people I didn't even know.

I am so sorry to be coming in late to this thread.  However, I am a huge believer in the power of prayer.  I remember the twins fondly...they were always two of my favorite students.  I'm sorry that this sorrow has become yours and pray that his transition is a peaceful one. I will also be praying for all others afflicted with this curse.  I will be holding you all in my heart.
