Fried Pies

4 cups flour                                                         
1 1/4 cup shortening
1 large can evap.milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
     mix & let chill in fridge overnight
   will keep several days
Keep covered
pinch off & roll to size   

take a ball of dough--roll it out into a 5 or 6 inch circle --put some fruit pie mixture in the middle -- fold it over, crimp the edge and brush the top with beaten egg white and sugar mixed --fry in deep fat fryer until golden brown.
