Fema is looking for rental homes for flood displaced people. If you know of any you are to call the appraisers office

Thanks for the info. I don't know how many of have driven through Coffeyville since the flood but the devastation is terrible. We were told this week that "tens of thousands" of contractors, workers and clean-up personnel will be in and out of Coffeyville in the next two years. And here's the sad part: They have only 11 available hotel rooms.  They lost most of the hotels in the flood.

I sold a downtown building in Oswego this week, located 40 miles from Coffeyville, to a person who is planning to divide the building into apartments.  Coffeyville workers are staying as far away as Tulsa, Joplin and Wichita.

So, yes, anyone who knows of available housing should make it known.
It truly is "a wonderful life."
