Mrs. Helen Ames Mullendore, wife of Miami, Oklahoma, banker, C. H. Mullendore, died unexpectedly in her sleep early Wednesday morning, December 8, at her home, the victim of an apparent heart attack.  She is believed to have died about an hour before her death was discovered by her husband at seven o'clock.

Mrs. Mullendore, 67, was a native of Moline, Kansas.  She had lived in Miami since 1926, moving there from Wyona, OKlahoma, and belonged to the First Methodist church and the 20th Century Club.

The Mullendore home is at 517 Circle Drive.

Surviving in addition to her husband, who is executive vice president of the First National Bank of Miami, are two sons, John Mullendore of St. Louis, Missouri, and C. H. Mullendore, Jr., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her mother, Mrs. Anna E. Ames of Moline, Kansas; two brothers, George K Ames, Moline, Kansas, and Donald Ames of Washington, D. C.; one sister, Mrs. Maurice Read, Coffeyville, Kansas, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial were held Friday at 3:00 p.m.  -  Miami,Oklahoma News-Record
