Eunice Marie Townsley passed away on Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Howard Twilight Manor in Howard.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, at the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard.  A memorial has been established with the Howard Twililght Manor.  Contributions may be left with the funeral home.  The funeral arrangements are being made with the Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard.

Eunice Marie Townsley, 93, of Howard, died Monday at the Howard Twilight Manor.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Zimmerman Funeral Home with Pastor Robin Haines of the Flint Hills Assembly of God Church officiating.  Cremation will take place following the funeral.

Friends may visit at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorials are suggested to the Howard Twilight Manor and contributions may be left with the funeral home.

Mrs. Townsley was born Jan. 14, 1914 at Howard, the daughter of John and Ida Belle (Baughman) VanBuskirk.  She attended school in Howard.

In the late 1920s, she married Glenn R. Townsley.  The marriage later ended.

Mrs. Townsley was employed at the Plaza Theater and Cafe in Howard and worked in daycare for children.

She is survived by four sons, Robert Townsley, Moline, Jim Townsley, Severy, John Townsley, Lansing, and Frank Towsley, Independence; three daughters, Dorothy Christmas, Everett, Wash., Barbara Gilbert, Wichita, and Lucille Wene, Grove, Okla.; 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
