Moline Advance:  Mr. Carvel O. Shaffer of Moline, Kansas and Miss Leota Orr, of Detroit, Michigan, were married last Thursday evening at the home of Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Shaffer in this city by the Reverend O.W. Dewey, pastor of the Methodist church.

Mr. Shaffer is the son of Dr. and Mrs. C. E. Shaffer and is a graduate of Wentworth Military Academy of Lexington, Misouri.  He is very popular among the young people of Moline.

Mrs. Shaffer has been a nurse in the West Side Hospital at Independence and is a young woman of accomplishments and merit.

Mr. and Mrs. Shaffer will start on their honeymoon next week and they will be at home to their friends at Winfield, Kansas after September 1.
