July 17, 1929, was the forty-fifth anniversary of the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. T. P. White.

Their friends assembled at the farm home and spent the day very pleasantly.  A bountiful dinner was spread and the following guests partook of the feast.

Mrs. F. H. Keifer and son Delmont and Charles Keifer (who was present at the wedding in F. H. Keifer's home in Elk Falls in 1884); Mrs. Maggie Turpin, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor O'Keefe, son Charles and daughter Mary Katherine of Leami, Illinois; F. E. Clough, Mrs. J N. Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Clough and daughter, Doris, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. McDiarmid and Mrs. Nannie Ritchards.  In the evening they were joined by S.W. Ritchards and family.

A picnic lunch of sandwiches, ice cream, cake, and iced tea was greatly enjoyed.  There were fireworks for the little folks and an old-fashioned charivari.

Best wishes and may they have many happy returns of the day.  -----Elk Falls Reflector.
