The Wichita dailies published elaborate accounts of the wedding last Monday which united Ray Perkins, a west -of- Howard young man, and Miss Frances Wells, a Wichita young woman.  The wedding took place in the Univeristy Freiends church in Wichita and Dr. O.W. Mendenhall, president of Friends University officiated.  Mention was made two or three weeks ago in these columns of the party in Wichita given by the parents of the bride-to-be, announcing the betrothal and the coming wedding.

The newly-weds are now away on their wedding tour, and we are told they will live on one of the Perkins farms west of Howard.

A number of relatives and friends of the groom from this vicinity attended the wedding.  The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Perkins, a pioneer family of this county.  The bride is a daughter of City Manager Bert Wells of Wichita, is an accomplished young woman and a fine musician.
