Harold Eugene "Hal" Freisner of Severy, Kansas passed away on November 29, 2018 at his home.  He was born on October 6, 1955 in Fredonia, Kansas, the son of Oleas Thomas and Vivian Mae (Weatherbee) Freisner.

Hal was raised in Fall River, Kansas and attended school there and at Severy.  He joined the United States Navy and served on the USS Marion based out of Corpus Christi, Texas.  He retired from the Navy after twenty years of service.

In February 1993, Hal was united in marriage to Connie Shinn.  She preceded him in death on May 28, 2015.  On August 7, 2018, he was married to Traci Sloan in Severy, Kansas.

Hal is survived by his wife, Traci of the home; sister, Virginia Van Buskirk of Severy, Kansas; and brothers, Donald Freisner of Olpe, Kansas and James Aikman of Severy, Kansas.

No services are planned at this time.  Cremation has been effected.  Koup Family Funeral Home of Eureka, Kansas is overseeing arrangements.
