Ronald Fredrick "Ron" Warrington, age 74, of Howard, Kansas, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, Kansas.

Cremation has been requested.  There are no services scheduled at this time.

Ronald Frederick "Ron" Warrington, age 74, passed away on March 4, 2017 at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, Kansas.  He was born in Hardtner, Kansas, one of ten children born to Harry and Eleanor Pauline (Coggins) Warrington.

Ron married Cathy Crowl on August 4, 1962 in Wichita, Kansas, and to this union was born two sons, Freddy and Ricky Warrington.  Ron worked for Bud White Heating & Air in Wichita before moving to Howard, Kansas almost 42 years ago.  He became a professional handyman and carpenter, working on many jobs for people in the community for a little over a year.  He and his wife then became owners of Ron's Service.  This was a full service filling station including a full line mechanical service.  He ran the station until 1984.  He then returned to being a handyman until he was injured on one of his jobs and became disabled in 1999.

His motto was: "There is a hard way and easy way to do everything".  Ron was a very intelligent and hard-working person who was very particular and a perfectionist.  He was very loving, and family meant everything to him.  Along with being passionate about his family, he also dearly loved hunting and fishing.  He belonged to Ducks Unlimited and was a member of the Eureka Gun Club.

Ron is survived by his wife, Cathy of their home; sons, Fred and wife, Alicia of Augusta, Kansas and their children, Heather Cundell and Kyle Warrington and Ricky and wife, Ronda of Neodesha, and Rick's children, Audra Ruyle, Ricky II, Gabriel Stevenson, and Alex Warrington; sister, Ruth Ann Hawkins of Wichita, Kansas; brothers, Monte Warrington and Jerry Warrington of South Hutchinson, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carol Wiedcamp; brothers, Robert, Larry, Don, David, and Russell Warrington; and loving in-laws, Harold and Fern Crowl.

Cremation has been requested.  There are no services scheduled at this time.  Countryside Funeral Home of Howard, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
