Wake-up!

The Libertarian Party of Kansas is meeting Saturday, February 11th at 3PM at the Alford Branch of the Wichita Public Library to nominate its candidate to fill Pompeo's seat.

Does anyone know when and where the Democrats and Republicans will be meeting? Does either major party make any effort to solicit special election votes in our smaller communities? Or will they also meet in Wichita only?

Is the election a foregone conclusion? Is a 'favorite son' Republican next in line, after paying his/her dues? Who is the likely successor to Pompeo?
The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people; it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government.

The greatest mistake in American history was letting government educate our children.
- Harry Browne, 1996/2000 Libertarian Party Presidential candidate
