CITY COUNCIL MEETING - MONDAY 7:30 PM

There will be a city council meeting, Monday 7:30 PM at Howard City Hall.
There will be a discussion on Elk St "chip and seal" which has created a lot of dust every time a vehicle drives down the street. The dust rises in the air to the height of the electric poles along the street and is blown by the wind in clouds that is visible for 200 feet. The smaller particles of dust that are not visible travel further. In addition to everything being covered in dust the breathing of the dust can cause health issues.  GOOGLE "BREATHING DUST" and learn the problems that it can cause.

There are kids walking home from school along Elk St and children living along Elk St that are being exposed to the dust.

If you live along Elk St or near Elk St and are concerned about the dust, please attend the city council meeting to express your concerns.
