Mary E. Wells, age 100, passed away on March 3, 2015 at Glennwood Healthcare Center in Glenpool, Oklahoma.  She was born October 19, 1915 in Van Alstyne, Texas to Pascal Ector Bennett and Ara N. (Nevins) Bennett.

Mary graduated from Cushing High School and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, Donald Baker and his wife, Catherine; her grandchildren, Angela Chitwood (Darrell), Donald Baker, Jr., Paul Baker, and Catherine Hearn (Aaron); her great-grandchildren, Bryce Hodges, Alex Baker, Olivia Baker, Ethan Baker, Trey Baker, Linda Baker, Isaac Baker, Moriah Hearn, and Lillian Hearn; and several other family members.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Pascal and Ara Bennett; her first husband, Paul L. Baker: her second husband, Bill Wells; her brothers, Billy Bennett and Ralph Bennett; and her sisters, Margaret Hornberger and Nelda Frieson.

Funeral services were held on March 9, 2016 at the Howard United Methodist Church in Howard, Kansas with Mr. Don Baker officiating.  Interment followed at Walnut Valley Memorial Park in El Dorado, Kansas.
