Only four presidents have not appointed a Supreme Court justice:
William H. Harrison
Zachary Taylor
Andrew Johnson
Jimmy Carter

W. Harrison was only president for thirty days and was ill for most of that time.

Johnson was the southerner who owned slaves but stayed loyal to the Union serving as the second vice president to Lincoln and succeeded him upon his assassination. After fighting ceased in Texas, he issued his own proclamation in August 1866 declaring the Civil War finally over.

"If one of the many corrupt...county-seat contests must be taken by way of illustration, the choice of Howard County, Kansas, is ideal." Dr. Everett Dick, The Sod-House Frontier, 1854-1890.
"One of the most expensive county-seat wars in terms of time and money lost..." Dr. Homer E Socolofsky, KSU

How could Johnson "stay loyal" to the Union because the yankee ideology changed the Union?  It was the Confederates who defended the Union's Constitution.  It's not the same Union today as it was founded before the War For Southern Independence.  The yankees never saved the Union, the yankees changed the Union.

Obama is loyal to the Union just like the Republicans were.  Nothing new there no matter how many Republicans are elected, they have like-minded loyalty to the Union.  Tyrants!
