Robert Earl "Bob" Cook was born on March 15, 1940 in Macomb, Oklahoma and departed this life on December 12, 2015 in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 75.  Bob, the son of Leonard Earl and Edna B. (Brown) Cook, was a long-time resident of Prague.

Bob graduated from Prague High School and then attended NEO in Miami, Oklahoma.  While at NEO, he was a member of the Junior Rose Bowl National Championship Football Team and was inducted into the NEO Football Hall of Fame.  He transferred to Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education before proudly serving his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965.  Upon discharge, Bob furthered his education with a Master's degree from Central State University.  He married Sharon Adele Royer on July 18, 1968.  He was a teacher, coach, Driver's Education instructor, and administrator for many years in Manford, Oklahoma, Snyder, Oklahoma, and Davenport, Oklahoma before retiring from Prague in 1995.  After retiring, he continued to work on grounds maintenance and as a bus driver for Prague Public Schools where he supported further generations of Prague students. 

Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prague.  He loved watching bull riding and Hallmark movies, fishing, going to church, and going to ball games supporting anything that involved the children of Prague.  He also enjoyed spending time with his little buddy, Toby.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Sharon Cook of Prague, Oklahoma; his daughter, Bobbie Denise Qualls of Howard, Kansas; his grandddaughter, Courtney Lyn Smith of Edmond, Oklahoma; his brother and sister-in-law, Jvon L. and Pat Cook of Prague, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, J.R. Cook, Chase and Jennifer Cook, and Janon Gosnell; and other numerous family members and friends.  Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Dale Lee Qualls.

The Cook family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Park Brothers Funeral Home in Prague, Oklahoma.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Prague with Brother Tim Emmons and Brother Scott Hamilton officiating.  The family has requested that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73123.  Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague, Oklahoma.
