Ethel W. Inman, age 92, of Grenola, Kansas, died Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Sedan City Hospital in Sedan, Kansas.  She was born on April 14, 1922 in Belva, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert Earl Bouse and Mary Floid (Gasswint) Bouse.

On November 19, 1940, Ethel was united in marriage to Thomas Gene Inman in Woodward, Oklahoma.  The couple resided in Oklahoma until August 1952 when they moved to Grenola, Kansas .  Ethel was a homemaker and spent her time helping her husband run the family farm.  She was also a a 4-H leader, Sunday School teacher, a gardener, and a gifted seamstress.  She made dress patterns from newspapers and turned them into dresses for her four daughters to wear.

Ethel is survived by four daughters, Arletta Everett and husband, John of Cedar Vale, Kansas, Karen Dobbins and husband, John of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Kathy Ditch and husband, Greg of Topeka, Kansas, and Wilma Allen and husband, Bryson of Mulvane, Kansas; her brother, Fred Bouse of College Station, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.  Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; her parents; and 3 brothers, William Bouse, Robert Bouse, and Ralph Bouse.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas with Chaplain Mike Graham officiating.  Burial will take place at Moline Cemetery in Moline, Kansas.  Visitation will take place at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Memorials have been suggested to Sedan City Hospital or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice of Coffeyville and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Services are entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E.
