Bob and Elizabeth Dole great American Heroes

Myrna and I really enjoyed the Doles on their visit to Howard. I told him he was one of Kansas greatest 2 sons, he said " who is the other one and I said Dwight D. Eisenhower" he thanked me for putting him in that category and said Eisenhower was his hero also. At age 91 Bob Dole remains very sharp and  he and Elizabeth gave a great talk. Myrna and I met him 48 years ago in Pratt Kansas.
