Stage Coach from Elk Falls, Kansas, to Independence, Kansas, 1870s. Thirty-Five mile distance one-way, eight hours travel time one-way, $2.50 round trip, eight a.m. departure time from both Elk Falls or Independence. A local area stage line the company was called Elk Valley Stage Lines.
