Dorothy Fouts of Wichita, Kansas died on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Comfort Care Home in Wichita at the age of 92.  She was born on June 23, 1920 in Advance, Missouri, the daughter of Conrad and Daisy Moss Buckley.

Dorothy was raised in Advance, Missouri and Idaho.  On December 5, 1938, she was united in marriage to Albert "Red" Fouts in Idaho.  They later made their home in Galesburg, Kansas and Cherryvale, Kansas.  In the late 1950s, they moved to the Piedmont, Kansas area where Dorothy worked at the Eureka Nursing Center, the Beaumont Hotel, and Cessna.  They later moved to Douglass, Kansas.  She retired in 1982.  Albert preceded her in death on September 21, 1998.

Dorothy is survived by three sons, Jim (Mary) Fouts of Salem, Illinois, Sam (Kathy) Fouts of Augusta, Kansas, and Roy (Stacy) Fouts of Douglass, Kansas; six daughters, Anna Eberl of Fort Collins, Colorado, Connie (Harry) Wunderlich of Piedmont, Kansas, Betty Davis of Coffeyville, Kansas, Billie (Randy) Martin of Douglass, Kansas, Deniese (Bruce) Jones of Augusta, Kansas, and Ruth (Mike) Lillibridge of Rose Hill, Kansas; 30 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, one son, Jack Fouts; 2 brothers; and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Koup Family Funeral Home,  121 N. Oak Street, Eureka, Kansas, with Chaplain Bill Eichelberger of Good Shepherd Hospice officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Galesburg, Kansas.  Visitation hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.  Condolences may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O.
