Married

St. Mary's church, Moline, was the scene of a pretty ceremony on Wednesday morning, May the fourth, when Father Cody united in matrimony, Jessie Bacus and John Weyrauch of Howard.  The bride supported by Elizabeth Morgan and the groom by William Morgan, were greeted to the alter by the strains of Lohengrin's wedding march.

The marriage was followed by the wedding mass with nuptial benediction and the newlyweds motored to the home of the bride's father where breakfast was served to their relatives and many friends.

We wish Jessie and Jack on this happy occasion, all the joy they could wish for themselves and may that joy last to the end of their earthly course and beyond it.

So, was this Uncle John's first marriage????

Wilma

Yes, this was Uncle John's first marriage and the mother of Joan, his only child.  I don't know just when she died, but Joan was still pretty young.  John and his mother raised Joan.  He later married Bernadine Redmon, Bill Redmon's mother, then Wilma Kill.
