William Roe Krebs, 92, of Sapulpa, Okla., formerly of the Longton and Elk Falls area, died Saturday at St. John's Hospital in Sapulpa.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Elk Falls Cemetery with Lloyd G. Zimmerman officiating.

Visitaion will be at Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard, From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Krebs was born Sept. 9, 1914 at Fulton to Joseph H. and Mary Elizabeth "Molly" (Schrader) Krebs.  He graduated from Fulton High School.

On Aug. 10, 1938, he married Winifred Gump at Prescott.  They made their home for may years near Fredonia where he raised livestock and operated a truck farm.  They later moved to Longton, where they continued to farm and operated Krebs Real Estate.  In the mid 1990's, the couple moved to Sapulpa to be near family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Claude Krebs, Sapulpa; a daughter, Billie Irene Polk, Siloam Springs, Ark; seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

William Roe Krebs died Saturday, dec. 2, 2006 at St. John's Hospital in Sapulpa, Okla.  He was 92 years of age, a resident of Sapulpa and formerly of the Longton and Elk Falls area.  Roe was born on Sept. 9, 1914 at Fulton to Joseph H. and Mary Elizabeth "Molly" (Schrader) Krebs.  He grew up in the Fulton Community and graduated from Fulton High School.

On August 10, 1938, he married Winifred Irene Gump at Prescott and to this union was born one son and one daughter.  They made their home for many years near Fredonia where Roe farmed, raised cattle and pigs and operated a truck farm, selling produce form his garden.  Roe and Winnie later moved to Longton where they operated Krebs Real Estate for several years, and continued to farm.  They made their home in the Elk Falls community before moving to Sapulpa, Okla. in the mid 1990's to be near their son and his family.

He is survied by his wife, Winifred of the home; his son, Claude Krebs of Sapulpa, Okla.; his daughter, Billie Irene Polk of Siloam Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.  He ws preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

graveside services were held at the Elk Falls Cemetery in Elk Falls with Lloyd G. Zimmerman officiating.  The funeral arrengements were made with the Zimmerman Funeral Home of Howard.
