Howard Courant
September 3, 1932

Last Sunday afternon at the Baptist church at 5 o'clock, Miss Mildred Beryl Dickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Dickson of Howard, became the bride of Mr. Phillip F. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Taylor who live seven or eight miles northwest of town.

The young couple was attended by Miss Laurel Dickson, sister of the bride and Mr. Wilbur D. McKeel of Neodesha, cousin of the bride.   Rev. J. W. Bayles, pastor of the church, performed the ring ceremony.  Both these young people were born and raised in this community and have a host of friends, who wish them success and happiness throughout their life.

The bride has been a very faithful and active member of the Baptist church for several years.  She is gifted with a beautiful contralto voice and has generously contributed her talent to the services of the church and community.

We are glad to know these fine young people plan to make their home in our community.  For the present they will be with Mr. Taylor's parents on the farm.
