Yes, I get it with the capital gains, use it myself. I was referring to WARPH's income tax numbers from that post from him. 6.9% on "income" from 50-$100,000.  Perhaps I read it wrong.
Personally I have no problem with a flat tax, never have. Since we don't have sales tax I'd have to get used to that at stores, but I don't see that as much of a problem and it would seem to be very fair.
