Area hotels

The wife and I are thinking about making a trip out to Elk County.  Are there any motels left out there?  We plan on splitting time between Grenola and Burden, so maybe Cowley county?

Winfield Kansas has motels.   20 miles from Burden.

in Moline there is the swinging bridge and crooked creek lodge.It use to be the nursing home and the Durbins opened it as a restaurant and real nice homey lodge ,hotel.And in Longton there is the Silver Bell.

Thanks for the tips!  we're hoping to spend our money on a local place instead of some national chain.

I recommend Crooked Creek Lodge. It's "home style"and the restaurant is right there. The rooms are simple, but very nice, and the people are fantastic. Silver Bell is good too.
