We always hear the right wing extremists spinning their tales of the untruths in the palestinian-israeli conflict.  This video shows the reality of the situation, and expresses the common viewpoints on both sides.  The biggest problem is that situations in both sides have allowed extremist elements to have too much political power.

Long, but very interesting....with commercials even.

Saw this thing acouple of years ago.  Yep... long and very uninteresting.  
I have read two critic reviews on this doc.  The good one:   "A boring documentary. There is no new or interesting information in this. Its just a bunch of people from both sides of the fence talking and it gets old really quick. Theres better films out there about the same subject matter that are good so dont waste your time on this one."

The bad one:   "The filmmakers devotedly strive to put a hopeful gloss on the future.  All interviewees end with an optimistic statement about Jerusalem's potential for a pacific future.  However the "spin" is unbalanced in criticizing Israel without relevant background on Israeli decisions and does nothing to evaluate the role of the Palestinian Authority in creating current problems. Thus, an Arab East Jerusalem interviewee complains that there is inadequate sewage removal in his neighbourhood. He waves plastic-sleeved letters he's written to- & received from the Municipality. But there is no equivalent response interview of anyone from the City govt. to ask what their version of the situation is. What if any local digging would violate sacred Islamic sites? An Arab spice merchant laments the fact that no tourists come to Jerusalem any longer. However it's never stated that the dramatic fall in tourism directly followed the 2nd Intifada and the subsequent danger of being killed by a Palestinian bomber. It is said that if Israel wants to stop the terrorism and suicide bombings, she should leave Gaza & the West Bank. However Gaza was evacuated, the occupation there ended, and there remains ongoing terrorism including nonstop missile rockets launched into bordering towns, the 2006 kidnapping of Giliad Shalit and the kidnapping of soldiers in Northern Israel precipitating the war with Hizbollah last year. Hamas. What about Hamas? All told the documentary seemed to lack enough depth to explain the BILATERAL situation accurately and to provide viewers the information to determine for themselves what the best solutions could be."

A lot of whining going on in the documentary.  Of course, this film was made in 2004 and a lot has changed since then.  The whining has gotten worse.
