I'm currently reading "Praying for Strangers" by River Jordan.  This is a great book.  This is the second time I've read it.

Had the Signer family Christmas at my house today.  Fun times!!  We had a lot of great food.  Fabulous gag gift game!  Pictures, more food.  Mom, Danny & Family, Carlene & Family, Tony & Family and my kids & grandkids.  It doesn't get any better than this!

It's always hard to say goodbye.  She was blessed to have you in her life also.  May you find peace knowing she is no longer suffering.

The Coffee Shop / Re: Do you believe in Santa Claus?

:-* Are you SERIOUS!  There's no Santa?  Oh my goodness!

I always told my kids when they ask that Santa was the "Spirit of Giving"  so as long as we give to others Santa continues.

I remember one of my daughters asking about Santa and after my standard answer replied "Then I suppose there's no Easter Bunny either".  She was more upset about the Easter Bunny than Santa.  I'm not really sure why because I've never made a big deal about Easter baskets or bunnies.

Rudy-
FFA has been the greatest thing my kids were ever involved in.  All four of them participated and learned so much.  My son didn't get in it until his Junior year of high  school but all three girls were involved all four years.  Each of the girls served (last one is currently serving) as Chapter President and all competed in Creed Speaking and Public Speaking.  They've done all kinds of livestock judging, land judging, bugs, flowers, you name it they've judged it.  I love to go on FFA trips.  You won't find a better behaved bunch of kids anywhere.  I was able to go to National Convention several years ago when they were in Louisville and I still get chills thinking about all those kids in their blue jackets.
