The Coffee Shop / One can dream, right?
January 18, 2010, 11:38:36 AM
The first day of spring is Saturday, March 20. That means there are 60 days until spring.

There are 75 days until Easter.

And 153 days until summer begins.

How funny, Angie, that you were thinking of becoming one.

I have built up quite a few clients already. I love the Avon products, especially the jewelry. If you're interested in looking at a catalog, please let me know. I have placed catalogs at Traci's Trends, Fall River Bank, and the Piedmont Cafe. I haven't been able to get to more places as I have been on bed rest with H1N1.

I will place our weekly specials on the business ads page as time allows, and if you're interested, I would love to add you to my email list.

In the meantime, feel free to visit my Avon website at http://www.youravon.com/dschouten. If you have questions about any of the products, please feel free to call or email me!

Diane, I don't think you've intruded. I enjoy your posts and have put a lot of your advice to use. I'm thankful you're on the forum!! Some people just have the guts to go face to face, they're cowards. I've learned this in the 22 years I've been on this earth.

Wilma - If you'd like to borrow a camera to snap pictures of your flowers or birds while waiting on your new battery, I have an extra. It's very simple point and shoot camera.

Both, Diane!

I'm out of town more than once a week and do pick up a few things in El Dorado as I need them. I do buy groceries in Eureka more often than I do in Howard. However, Julie Perkins is the only pharmacist I trust with my children's prescriptions. In my opinion, the customer service at Batson's & Family Market is the warmest I've ever had. Even when PEP is bagging my groceries, he has some sarcastic comment to make me laugh.

Can't we all just get along?

Wilma, your yard is simply wonderful. Have the peonies bloomed yet? I will try to get by there this week and I will bring baby Eli so you can meet him.

PEP, they couldn't handle you on the road crew.

Ernie went by the house at almost 9 o'clock the other night in a road grader. That's job devotion. You think a 10-hour day is long? Try having 2 small children and they only see their father a few hours in the evening because he works 12-hour days 6 days a week at the rock quarry.

I've slowed down, only because of the pot holes and washouts.
