The Coffee Shop / Re: WHERE'S the FIRE???
April 01, 2008, 06:10:10 PM
It looked like a storage shed, but Once again, our fire dept was right there and took care of it.
We are so blessed to have such a responsible fire crew. Its getting a little weird though with all the fires in this one area!
Thats four within two blocks of each other!

We have just received word That Judy passed on this evening, no details available at this time.
Many of you will know Judy as Judy Clark who ran the Curlique in Moline. She has put up a battle with her health for a long time, and our prayers are with her husband Bud ( Henry  and her family.)
Services for Judy will be at 11am on Friday April 4th graveside, Moline

Our family want to say a great big THANK YOU to Rudy and his son for all of the wonderful pictures in the Flint Hills Express, what a tribute,we have always been proud of our town and its people, but seeing it all in print does our hearts good. To have this newspaper and be able to share it with our family around the world who do not have internet makes us feel very proud of everyone who made this very special tribute a reality. God Bless everyone .
