Jo,
Thanks so much for sharing. Lyle's grandpa Lyle Taylor passed away @ 99 yrs. old in May of 2007 and I miss him so much. I knew he went peacefully and in no pain @ home in his bed. I never knew the man to be in a bad mood the short time I had dated Lyle. He knew my son, Lyle's son and all of us. He taught Lyle so in much life (of course Lyle is an only grand child). He bought Lyle his first truck and we still have it. Lyle wants to restore it one of these days. Lyle wrecked it one night and he said grandpa never had any harsh words to him, just asked if he was okay. When Lyle's grandma would make supper and if she ever burnt something, grandpa would always tell her "it was still good." When I started dating Lyle, he told him if you don't want this girl (talking about me) I will take her no matter how old I am. He would always give me a kiss before we would leave and he would say, "Don't tell Lyle."
I wish I would had known Lyle earlier in life, but for the short time that I knew his grandpa, I wouldn't trade another day for it. It is hard for Lyle to go out to the Howard Cemetary, but I keep it decorated for occasions and I take the boys with me and they always jump out of the vehicle and go straight to the graves and say, "Hi Pops!". Lyle's little boy Garrett asked last year (at age 7) while we were decorating for Memorial Day if we could dig Pops up and play with him. The boys used to tickle the bottom of Pops' feet and he did not like that. I am just so glad they have their own memories, cuz as for my mom's parents never got to meet my son, Lyle or Garrett. They passed away while I was still a teenager. Thanks for sharing your story. It made my night. Take Care, Lyle & Tessa Riggs

I have known Connie for about 4 months now and she IS a really wonderful lady.
Her and her family have taken our home and really made it something we couldn't due
to our jobs. Her girls did my hair, finger and toe nails last weekend for my wedding reception.
Connie made two gallons of hot and mild salsa for the reception, she helped put my boys' flowers
on their shirts at the reception...she is an AWESOME person. She has made an impact on my
life in the short time I have know her. :D

Tobina,
That is such exciting news.....as for Lyle and I both have two boys and wouldn't
trade them for nothing...I really don't care to have a girl...I will let the boys
grow up and get my girl for me...Some have no symptoms of morning sickness
unlike me...I was sick all the time....I craved fish stixs and mayo and couldn't
eat mexican or chinese and now my 10 yr. son loves them both...so crazy
how the body work.
Again Congrats and best wishes.
Tessa & Lyle Riggs
