K-State hit a BIG bump in the road today on their way to the basketball championship. Butler played a great game, and K-State just never seemed to get into their usual rhythm. Although I'm not generally a K-State fan, I've enjoyed watching this team. They seemed very exhausted today, possibly from the double overtime game two nights ago. It was a good season, nevertheless!
Yes, they probably were exhausted....BUT when you are running with the big dogs, you have to realize the last laps are probably going to be the most tiring......I wish they had realized you have to go for the lay-ups and making the free throws is an absolute MUST !!
Several 2 point baskets would have counted up -- but all the unsuccessful tries for the 3 pointers just done them in.
Makes me soooooooooooo sad!!!! K U and K-State beat themselves.
