Just a head's up.
I have discovered a hard kernel on the side of my tongue. It is on the opposite side of the surgery/cancer
I also have what feels just like the cancer behind the teeth/jaw hinge on the same side as the kernel.
Yes, I have my self all stirred up. I had made a doctor's appointment for a different reason Thursday. I will insist she set up a CT scan and if it is iffy make me an appointment with the ENT.
I know I can make it myself........but she can get me in sooner.
I am ok. I know what could happen if this is the cancer back.
I am praying that the huge pan of popcorn I ate (all at once) about a month and a half ago is what's wrong.
It was the first time I really enjoyed pop corn and it was a very large bowl full.
Please put me on your prayer lists.. I am scared. Robyn has told me "not to worry mom" I dare anyone who has had cancer to not be worried when faced with a new problem.

I am on my way to doctor's office to hear about the results from my CT-Scan
I am shaking as I write this.
I Know I can handle what ever is give me. I can be brave druing the tough times, because God is with me.
I also know that when prayer Angels pray, then the miracles happen.
Please pray and keep praying.
Not only is GOD with you, but all of us are with you, too. You are in my prayers and I look forward to you telling us that there is nothing wrong at all.

I have a HUGE PRAISE THE LORD.
I do NOT have cancer.
Chest x-rays shows a slight COPD which after all the allergies I have and the fact I am an ex-smoker is not a surprise.
CT-scan shows a lot of arthritis (surprise???!!!! The sore in my mouth without going to a dentist or the ENT shows scar tissue from radiation burns and most likely the sorest one is due to my crunching my food.
I do not plan on stopping that. I had enough Ensure.............and soft food.
She did put me on an inhaler. We both think my chest is due to the pollen/cat/dog/flowers, etc.
Also upped my blood pressure meds, seeing if all of this will stop the dizzy's I get when I first get up and or come down from exercising.....walking I mean.
So to all who have been praying thank you so much. IT worked.
Now with more frequent monitoring of my mouth, if anything does develop will have a head start.

Thanks to all of you..................I am a firm believer in prayer. Even when I am overwhelmed and can't pray for myself, I know that if the PRAYER WARRIORS are praying then all will be well. IF God So Wills it.
Right now I am squeezing you so hard it surely must hurt. Are your feet touching the ground? I'm so happy for you I can't put it into words. Spring will be wonderful!
What great news! There is power in prayer!
Just a FYI--sometimes when I have a sore mouth from acidy foods or canker sores, I take L-Lysine pills. You can get them over the counter in the health and vitamin section, and they are amino acid pills. It works to help my mouth heal quickly (although my son says it is all in my head..............). They are certainly worth a try to have on hand.
So happy to know that you are relieved with your checkup!
