Mr. George E. Turner, son of John W. and Roma Turner, was born May 25, 1914 in Moline, Kansas.
He attended college at KU and College of Emporia. A member of the Christian Church, he was the frst Eagle Scout in Moline, Kansas. He was attachd to the Royal English Air Force for two years as a volnteer in the Civilian Technical Corporation.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Watt Funeral Home Chapel for George E. Turner, who died Friday in the Sedan City Hospital, Sedan, Kansas, following a short illness.
Those surviving include his wife, Eleanor, of the home; his daughter, Roma Jean Turner of Springfield, Missouri; and his stepdaughter, Mrs. Cynthia Durbin, and step-granddaughter, Miss Dana Durbin of Moline, Kansas.
