Of the Crismas' I have known about, it was spelled Crismas, which I thought was a funny way to spell Christmas.  Now we have 3 spellings of the name.  Are they all the same family or different families?

The Tombstone for George Crismas in Gracelawn spells in as "CRISMAS" but the tombstone right beside George's is for Alfred & Catherine Christmas his Father & Mother which spells it "CHRISTMAS".  I have seen these two spellings quite often in the family tree but the spelling "CHRISMAS"  is not seldom found.
Also George's Birth date does not agree with this account it should be November 10, 1856.

I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS GRANDFATHER JAMES CRISMAS THAT CHANGED THE SPELLING BUT AFTER  LOOKING AT THE BIO. IN THE ELK COUNTY HISTORY, I THINK IT MUST HAVE BEEN ALFRED CRISMAS THAT CHANGED THE SPELLING.................... THIS WAS GEORGE's father. NOW I AM REALLY CONFUSED!
