Margery Pickell is one fine lady -- as is Kate ( my classmate) Gleneva, Lila,and Donna -- all Shanks girls and their two brothers Bob and Jerry. Good people.

I called Margery Friday night and we talked about family that I didn't know about for almost an hour. She was a big help and a very gracious lady. I hope to meet her at the Library at Fredonia in March when I go to Arkansas.

Can anyone tell me about how far, how long it takes to get from Bentonville, Arkansas to Fredonia? Also from Grove, Oklahoma.

I want to go to Elk Falls and Howard while I am there.

According to DeLorme Street Atlas 2008:

Bentonville, Arkansas to Fredonia: 168 miles, 3 hrs 45 mins

Grove, Oklahoma: 119 miles, 2 hours 50 mins
