Title: Longton news
Post by: Judy Harder on December 29, 2008, 10:52:46 AM
Sirens ran through the county and our prayer chains have informed us that the Kenny Kramer farm
in the rural area of Longton is where the noise is going.

Lets keep the prayers moving for the Kramer family. It is said to be a big one and we know it is not
good news.

If anyone has heard different on the scanners let us know.

God watch over all who are taking care of this.....and the Kramer's.

I talked to Theresa at the Mini-Mart, and she said that June apparently had a nativity scene in their yard, lighted by an extension cord, and it must of shorted and started a fire.  The hay started burning, and it burned up to the house.  Some of the siding on the house was removed and there was some smoke damage, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it might of been, if they hadn't of been home.  So, thank the good Lord!

Theresa had done something nice for me (as usual,) so I needed to call her to thank her, and the timing was just right, to ask her about the fire.

So, "all's well that ends well!"

I should have known you would get the news before I did..
Good for you.

I finally had to go to the bank and Janet told me what Theresa told you.........it could have been so
much worse.

Praise the Lord He was watching out for all.

The "Grape-Vine"  is alive and well.........
