God help us!

Maybe if they walk in the shoes of the poor they will get the message.
I  think, (my oppion) that we who are use to doing without and on low income
will be able to weather this much better, then the people who live at the other
end of the economy...........and I don't mean the really rich.......I mean those who think
this will never happen to us.............right......

Jump on into the pool..............we may be able to put some water in next summer when we get
a major rain.

Most wouldn't know how to survive if they walked in our shoes.
That video is supposed to be funny .. but it reeks of such truth that it makes you realize that it is pathetically disgusting. .

I don't find it funny at all...I agree with you, Teresa...it's pathetic.  If it weren't for the fact that those bail-outs are necessary to save the jobs of a bunch of common people, I'd say let the businesses go under and have to undergo a restructuring that would make them have to improve their mode of operations.  But, that impacts too wide a scale of common individuals to be a viable idea in this day and age.

Common people -  why would common people would not want a gov't bailout?

The impact of a gov't bail-out carries a far wider negative scale, than no bail-out.

Take a look at Ford's assembly plant in Brasil on this video:
