While Reading the Chautauqua County Sherrif's Report in the Praire Star, i read the first accident. it says as follows:
8/30/08 - Buddy R. Fast
of Wichita was north bound on
Road 6 three miles north of
Hwy 166 when a cow jumped
out of the ditch and hit the right
side of his vehicle.
Now as i was thinking, cows don't just jump out a car like deer. I don't even think cows can even jump.
I also noticed that and got a good chuckle! I also thought it was ironic that the guy's last name was FAST... as in maybe he was driving a bit too FAST? :D
And I was thinking this article was probably correct, because if a cow can jump over the moon I don't know why one can't jump out of the ditch.
I don't know about jump, but I have had a calf one time at night run straight at my car at night and run into it. (I was sitting still) I think he just wasn't sure what that light was and thought he should go for it. LOL
I have seen calves jump! LOL
