Title: Tuesday Primaries
Post by: W. Gray on May 20, 2008, 07:53:37 AM
Two more primaries today.

Oregon has 52 delegates at stake, Kentucky 51.

Total delegate count is at 1915 for Obama and 1721 for Hillary.

Today's results will not change the spread much but Obama is saying he will not declare victory.

As a side comment, I cannot imagine that if Obama wants to keep his "change" message going that he will ask Hillary to be his running mate. But, politics being politics he may be forced to.

I would like to see Joe Biden named to the VP spot; some are talking about Sebelius. Have you heard that McCain is considering Lieberman as his VP?

I had heard early on that McCain was thinking of Lieberman, but I also thought I had heard that Lieberman said he was not interested.

Both McCain's and Obama's choice will be interesting.

If Obama picks Hillary it will probably create an uproar. If he does not pick her it will probably create an uproar.

I'll second that motion for our Joe Biden. Speaking of Democrats, I assume by now you've all heard Ted Kennedy's seizure was caused by a brain tumor.

No, Diane, I had not heard yet what had caused Sen. Kennedy's seizure.  Thanks for letting us know.  As for running mates, on CBS this morning they said Obama had ordered his "people" to start putting together information for a "running mate" but didn't mention anyone in particular.  I don't think it will be Hillary. I do have my own ideas, but going to keep them to myself so as not to "stir up anything" ::) ;D.

You know? You just have to laugh at it all I guess.

You would think out of all the people out there that ran.. and all of those who didn't run for President ..but didn't..
We finally end up with these 3 bozos?

Like I say.. you have to laugh or you would just set down in the middle of the road and cry.   :-\
