This was sent to me and thought you all might want to do this too.
A Great Idea!!!
When you are making out your Christmas card list this year, please include
The following:
A Recovering American Soldier
C/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue,NW
Washington,D.C. 20307-5001
Great idea! 'Tis done!
Good work Teresa. Thanks.
I received the same e mail that you did, Tressy, but the friend that I got mine from lives in Illinois, and you don't know her -- so if this e mail is floating around, it may be a wonderful "Christmas Card" day for many of our Heros that are out there for us all so we can enjoy the freedom of the Holiday season. I plan to do this when I send my Christmas cards this year.
Unfortunately, Walter Reed is not accepting any cards addressed to "any injured soldier," and the post office is now returning all mail addressed to "Any Injured Soldier"

If you would like to send a card go to
http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1024.html
Pick your card and a saying and it will be included in a care package to the troops.
and if you want to send a package try
http://www.treatanysoldier.com/
or
http://www.anysoldier.com/
you can pick the branch of service and get a list of what they need
Thank you very much for that.
