Title: Turducken
Post by: Diane Amberg on August 23, 2007, 09:31:50 AM
Kermit, I moved this over here so it's in a more logical place. A Turducken is actually 3 birds. A boned turkey stuffed with a boned duck, stuffed with a boned chicken with stuffing in it. I've seen it done but I've never tried it myself. As far as your stuffed camel meal....I think you can keep it. What part did you eat?

I very carefully had some of each. When in Rome...

There was a certain amount of flavor-melding going on there. But every one of the meats had its own distinctive overtones. In my opinion, the pork was the best and the camel was the worst.

Diane, the Turducken is very good.  A place here in Houston makes them for the holidays and all you have to do is heat them and eat.  You have a stuff of stuffing ingredients.  The shrimp was the favorite.

You can buy them in the frozen section and they are good but not as good as the ones from the meat market here in Houston.
