The shell of a building:

These are current pictures - not the "Good Old Days" - but they are definitely reminders of those days.

so very very much for the pictures.

Kjell had a great idea..and one that I think he should take to the council.

He thinks that there should be western false fronts built in the space..and when a building is knocked down and
removed..
Then a different western 'town front" should go back up until someone wants to build or put in a buisness.
That way there isn't a gapping empty hole in our town. Also it would look so neat.. just like the western movies...

I think that is a GREAT idea!

What do you all think?

Man I have only been gone from Howard for 2 weeks and all this exciting stuff happens. :)  I am never around for the good stuff.  Sure do miss you guys though. :'(  It has been very hot and humid down here in FL.  The kids are adjusting to school nicely and we should be in our house by late Oct.  Will keep you all up to date on the progress.  Till then take care and keep those pictures of changing Howard coming.

Glad to hear that all is well with you and that the kids like school.
Howard really ISN'T all that exciting.. and when a building is torn down and that IS the excitement...
