 Teresa, the devil made me do this - several years ago I was invited to supper which Teresa cooked. She served the most delicious "made from scratch" biscuits and I commented that I never mastered the art of making biscuits other than "WOP" biscuits. She asked for the recipe, commenting that it was probably an italian recipe, wasn't it? I was glad to pass along the recipe. Peel the paper off the outside, "wop" em on the edge of the cabinet, put the biscuits in a pan and bake. Might add, made for a good "ice breaker" and a really good laugh. I still make a mean batch of wop biscuits. :P :)
I never could make good biscuits, either, but I have found another alternative. I buy the frozen biscuits from Schwan's and can bake only as many as I want at a time. And the little toaster oven that Millie left me does a wonderful job of baking small amounts.

Oh Flo.........I DO remember that ..and I have told the story many many times..................
In fact, I have given your recipe to several..
And to judge by the chuckles and laughter.. I am sure your recipe has been passed around plenty.
( and thanks for the compliment on my biscuits. :)
