Clipping from the Severyite
Miss Mildred Speer and Mr. Rex Lawman were married Saturday afternoon at three o'clock in Iola by probate Judge Travis Morris. After the ceremony the couple went to the home of Mrs. Lawman's sister, Mrs. Harold Clark of Iola, and remained there until Sunday evening when they returned to their furnished home in Severy.
Mrs. Lawman, a daughter of Mr. Marion Speer, who lives near Fiat, was graduated fron the Severy High School in 1931. Mr. Lawman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Lawman and for the past several months has been the assistant for Postmaster H. D. Burke. He also graduated from Severy High School in 1932.
Mr. and Mrs. Lawman are at home to their friends, and their many acquaintances wish them a happy and prosperous life. -- Severyite.
