County Clerk Lester Matthew called our office Tuesday and gave us the following information:  The board of county commissioners meeting in regular session last Monday were engaged with the division of Union Center township, which has been too large all these years for the convenience of the voters.  At the last session, a new law was passed by the legislature providing for two precincts instead of one, at Union Center.  The dividing line starts from the southwest corner of Paw Paw Township, proceeds past the Frank Moore place, thence across the north part of the Mullendore ranch, passing on by the J. W. Cox and the Sherman Smith place, west to the county line.  Voters living north of the line will vote at Forest; all south of the line, will vote at Union Center schoolhouse.
