January Term Convened Monday--Adjourned Until Today
The January term of the Elk County District Court was convened Monday with Judge A. T. Ayres on the bench. Pleas and motions were heard and a few cases settled after which court adjourned until today.
The cases were assigned and disposed of as follows:

State vs. Edwin Taylor, burglary; continued.
State vs. Charley O'Neal; larceny; continued.
State vs. Fred Kill, assault; $15 fine and costs.
State vs. Ray Spitler, petty larceny; dismissed.
State vs. Lawrence Huffman and Haldeen Vaughn, "joy riding"; 6 months, paroled
Culmer Chemical Co vs. H. G. and J. R. Thompson, money judgement; continued.
S. C. Wilson vs. Hayhurst et al, foreclosure of lien; continued.
Grenola State Bank vs. Guy O. Seaton, money judgement; continued.
Samuel A. Larimore vs. Alice Larimore, divorce: granted.
G. A. Warner vs. Zelma Warner, divorce; set for January 9th
B. E. LaDow vs. Southwestern P & Ref. Co., cancellation of contract; continued
Frank Webb vs. John Croft et al, cancellation of lease; passed.
