Red Republicans and Lincoln's Marxists
Consider the doublespeak names communist states, like "People's Republic of China." That government doesn't represent the Chinese people, and it's certainly no republic. Coincidentally, the supposedly conservative Republican Party we know today can trace its beginnings to the same sort of socialist propaganda.
