Maridene L. Arndt, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on March 10, 2017. She was born on July 25, 1934 in Moline, Kansas to the late Kenneth and Hazel (McAlister) Harris.
Maridene is survived by her children, Milton Arndt and Sharla (Arndt) Meyer, both of Kansas City, Missouri; her brother, Frank (Melva) Harris of Boise, Idaho; her grandchildren, Prudence Courtemanche, Waylon Arndt, and Loren (Robert) Barclay; and great-grandchildren, Krishan, Nelson, and Emmalynn Barclay. She is preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, Marian Dudgeon; her sister, Elizabeth Gibbon; her son, William A. Arndt Jr.; and her son-in-law, Harold Meyer Jr.
Services will be held at Hillside Christian Church, 900 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64118 on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service being held at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association. Newcomer's White Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
