Title: Too Bad Lincoln Is Not Being Replaced
Post by: redcliffsw on April 22, 2016, 05:47:08 AM

The Treasury Dept. is going to replace Andrew Jackson's likeness on the $20 bill with Harriet Tubman. I have nothing against Harriet Tubman, but think Jackson should stay simply because of the millions of dollars the government will be spending to design and print the new bills. Too bad the murderous and treasonous Lincoln on the $5 is not being replaced. Then it might be worth the money.

Millions? The new bills won't be added until 2030 according to what I read, and the old ones will live their 5 year +or- lives just as they do now. They will not be taken out of service, so the cost of printing doesn't change. I'm not sure about the cost of the new printing plate, but I think I can find out.

Before too long, our money will look like the money in the Congo.

Our money is so worthless now.

It reflects the true thinking of Republicans and reconstructed Democrats who are running the show.
